Little Girl Blue- Janis Joplin

Saturday Morning Blues for those who are blue.
-
This is from the album Pearl... her last one. I bought it first. I had to work my way backwards after that. She was only 27 when she died. Sometimes I think about what she would have gone on to do. The blues just came through her, somehow.

Note: If this gets posted twice, it is because I am having difficulties posting
video today...

And now let's put it all together...

- Joplin had a tryst with Cohen

- In Cohen's speech he referred to one-time rock crictic Jon Landau.

- Landau became Springsteen's manager

- Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark" was covered by the Muppet's (see Feb 6th) Electric Mayhem band

- Janis is the lead lead guitar player for Electric Mayhem. Her name is an homage to Janis Joplin.

What a genius mind... it gets even more intricate when one considers that Janis is rumored to have had an affair with Tom Jones, and Jones went on to sing with Van Morrison. http://www.undercover.com.au/News-Story.aspx?id=1938

Now, when Van tours with Springsteen and they start singing Leonard Cohen songs, it is the 6th sign of the Apocalypse.
